The rules of the house. (Spoiler: Just be a decent human).

The TL;DR (Translation for Humans)
Be yourself, be kind, and be at least 18. We've built a space for intentional romance, so no fakes, no scammers, and absolutely no harassment. If you're here for the right reasons, these rules are just here to protect you. If you're here to be a troll, we will ban you without a refund.
1. The Basic Ground Rules
By using Mindful Connect, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, you can't use the app. It's a pretty standard deal. Here is what we require from you:
- Be 18 or older: This is an adult connection platform. Period.
- Be honest: This isn't a networking app for your polycule, and it's definitely not a place for deception. Mindful Connect is for individuals looking for an authentic connection.
- Be yourself: You must use real, recent photos and videos of your actual face. No AI avatars, no hiding behind sunglasses in every shot, and no impersonating Ryan Gosling.
2. The "Don't Be a Jerk" Policy (Acceptable Use)
We have a zero-tolerance policy for terrible behavior. You agree NOT to:
- Harass, abuse, stalk, or send unsolicited explicit content to other users.
- Use the app to sell your crypto course, your OnlyFans, or your MLM scheme.
- Hate speech, racism, sexism, or bigotry of any kind will result in an instant, permanent ban.
3. Synchronized Events Events & Money
We don't do subscriptions. We sell tickets to live events (usually around €5 / £5 depending on your local currency).
- Refunds: If life happens, you can cancel your RSVP and get a full refund up to 2 hours before the event starts.
- No-Shows: If you cancel less than 2 hours before, or just don't show up, there are no refunds. Why? Because the mathematical pairing algorithm relies on you being there. If you ghost, you ruin the event for other people.
- Bad Behavior on Video: If you behave inappropriately during a live video round and get reported, we will kick you out of the event immediately, permanently ban your account, and you will not get a refund.
4. Your Content
You own the photos and videos you upload. By uploading them, you give us permission to display them to other users on the app so they can see how charming you are. If you delete your account, we delete your content. It's that simple.
5. The Legal Liability Shield
We built this app to help you meet people, but we are not responsible for the people you meet. We do our best to ban bad actors, but we do not conduct criminal background checks on every user. Always use common sense and prioritize your personal safety when meeting someone from the internet in real life.
6. Changes to these Terms
If we change these rules, we will let you know. Usually, it's just to fix typos or clarify something a lawyer told us to clarify.
