The agreement that keeps this a sanctuary.

We protect the collective intention. By using Synchronized Presence, you agree to be part of a respectful, authentic community.

1. The basic ground rules

By using Synchronized Presence, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, you cannot use the app. Here's what we ask:

• Be 18 or older. This is a space for adults. Period.
• Be authentic. Use a real, recent photo of yourself. No AI avatars, no impersonation.
• One account. Each person has one verified account. Multi-accounting or bot behaviour ends in a ban.

2. The "no jerks" policy

We have zero tolerance for behaviour that disrupts the sanctuary. You agree not to:

• Harass, abuse, stalk, or send unsolicited content to other members.
• Use the app for commercial solicitation, spam, or financial scams.
• Post or share hate speech, bigotry, or explicit content.
• Publicly share others' private information.

3. Payments & contributions

We do not use subscriptions or ads. The community, the meditation and breathwork Sits, Spaces, and Voices are free, and listing a place is free for venue owners. We never sell your data.

When you register for a session, we hope you'll show up — others are holding the space alongside you.

4. Your content & presence

You own the photos and content you share. By uploading them, you grant us permission to display them within the Synchronized Presence community. If you delete your account (Settings → Account → Delete account), your data and the account itself — including your login — are permanently removed, not just deactivated. Venues you created are deleted; venues you claimed return to the directory.

5. The legal shield

We built this space to foster genuine presence, but we are not responsible for the individuals you meet. We verify identities through secure authentication, but we do not conduct criminal background checks. Always use mindful discretion when connecting with new people.

6. Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, we'll let the community know. Continued use after changes means you agree to the new terms.
