You are our member, not our product. We don't run ads, and we never sell your data.

Our "zero BS" privacy promise

Most apps offer a "free" service because they are quietly selling your psychological profile to ad networks. We don't — and we never sell your data. That means you are our member, not our product.

• Zero ads. No ads means no ad trackers. Period.
• Zero selling. We will never sell your personal data to data brokers.
• Zero algorithms. We don't quietly track your behaviour to build an algorithmic profile of your "type."

What we actually collect (and why)

• Your phone number. Your only sign-in (Firebase Phone Auth). No password to remember, no marketing spam.
• A profile photo. So other members know you're a real person.
• Your location. Two reasons only: to schedule Sits in your timezone, and to show mindful places (Spaces) near you. Never to match you with people nearby.
• The live Sit. Audio and video during a synchronized session are real-time only — ephemeral, never recorded, never stored (Agora).
• Your Voices posts. The text, images, and short video you choose to share in Voices — kept until you delete them.
• Basic app analytics and crash logs. Stability and rough usage, with device identifiers (Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics). Never sold.

What we never collect

The data we deliberately never collect:

• No gender, orientation, or "looking for." Your profile is a name, one photo, an 18+ birthdate, and location — nothing romantic.
• No matching or people-discovery data. There is no distance-to-a-person, no "browse people" — no people-discovery at all.
• No contacts. We never read your address book.

Who else sees your data

A few secure providers help us run the sanctuary:

• Google / Firebase. Auth, database, storage, messaging, and analytics/crash reporting.
• Agora. Powers the live Sit audio and video — real-time and never recorded.
• Google Maps / Places. Address search for your location and for venues.
• Apple In-App Purchase & Stripe. Payment processors integrated for possible future optional events — not used today, so no card data is collected in this version.

The "nuke it" button

Under GDPR, CCPA, and basic human decency, you own your data. Go to Settings → Account → Delete account and we don't just "deactivate" it — we remove all your data and the account itself, including your login. If you run a venue: places you created are deleted, and places you claimed return to the directory.

Security

Everything is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS), and data is kept only until you delete it or your account is removed.
